Volunteers who are interested in schools and universities have to a teacher as their choices of classes and subjects. Volunteers usually teach English and a combination of other subjects including math, science, English, social studies etc to older students. Our volunteers usually have 4-5 classes each day. Although students are supplied with a curriculum each volunteer is welcome and encouraged to incorporate their own knowledge into the curriculum. Any special interests or talents the volunteers can be shared with the students and other teachers.
In Nepal there is lack of quality education in rural and less urban areas. Our aim is to provide quality education utilizing the experience volunteers from developed countries. We also assist the rural mass providing free education to certain target group of students. We seek dedicated westerner volunteers in our community to develop our country. Our school as well as, other schools, universities and local communities have benefited from our past volunteers. The students, other people communicated and respond well to past volunteers. We believe that it is a very positive and beneficial experience for all involved.
