Dr. Mari from Norway gives the boys a much needed check-up. We were wondering why Gopal seemed to be losing some weight. It turned out that he had some cavity problems. Some skin infections and abrasions but all in all they checked out well. Thank you doctor!

We say goodbye to Irene Permentier from Stichting Didi, an organization which started “Ideal Home” women’s center. She came here to see the results of the first 18 month program with 11 women who have suffered from domestic violence and neglect.
Irene is one of 10 women from the Netherlands who came together to help women in Nepal. Ideal Home will turn its attention to helping victims of human trafficking soon but not before developing more products for the newly trained women in their current program. Her presence here has been appreciated and her warmth and sense of humor will be missed.

Mike is from the US and is adjusting to his new environment. The August heat and humidity is taking its toll on us all. The kids at Murry Foundation are pretty curious about foreigners and Mike is no exception. They’re impressed by how tall he is.

Mike is surveying his future washing clothes” the old way” while Alice and Tristan give it a go. Alice and Tristan are from the UK and are helping us get the kids cleaned up. With the current weather there is a higher number of skin infections among the children that we need to take care of. Alice and Tristan (medical students) are just in time. Thanks Guys!
