On Saturday May17th in Bharatpur, Chitwan a large ceremony was held for the Murry Foundation Orphanage. Many people were invited, from friends and community members to well respected officials and businessmen. Also in attendance were Jessica Murry and Sally, who came from England to represent the Murry Foundation. A number of people chose to come on stage and express their gratefulness to the orphanage and the people who coordinate it.


There were many reasons to be in attendance for the event, but the main reason was the children. Awards were given to the winners from the sporting events played during the past two days. Numerous types of dances were performed, from traditional Nepali to Hip-Hop freestyle. A play was also shown and a few of the older children stepped up on stage to express their gratitude towards the foundation and those involved.


At the end the audience Ajeev came up on stage and told all of the attendees why the orphanage is so important to him, his colleagues and the many children who were given a second chance in life. The night was capped off by an exquisite Nepali dinner.
